Seikoh Giken to Acquire NEC Tokin's Optical Device Unit

Seikoh Giken announced on Monday March 27 that it has reached an agreement with NEC Tokin to acquire NEC Tokin's optical device unit. The acquisition will include R&D, production and sales activities of NEC Tokin's unit. NEC Tokin is focusing on its core businesses, which are mobile phones and PC peripherals. Further details on the agreement were not immediately available.
